Product Warranty Policy

5 Star Sign Ltd is committed to providing premium-quality signage, durable materials, and reliable LED lighting. We stand behind our workmanship and aim to provide dependable products and customer service.

1. Warranty Coverage

A. Sign Body and Structural Workmanship — 5 Years

The sign body and structural workmanship are covered against manufacturing defects for five (5) years from the purchase or installation date specified on the invoice, subject to this policy.

For stainless steel channel letters, coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship. Normal weathering, cosmetic changes, and environmental corrosion are not covered unless caused by a covered manufacturing defect.

B. LED Modules and Power Supplies — 2 Years

LED modules and power supplies are covered against manufacturing defects for two (2) years from the purchase or installation date specified on the invoice, subject to this policy.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, 5 Star Sign Ltd will assess the claim and determine the appropriate repair or replacement remedy.

2. Warranty Conditions

To qualify for warranty service:

• The product must be used for its intended purpose.
• The sign must be installed and operated according to supplied instructions and applicable electrical requirements.
• Proof of purchase must be provided.
• The customer must provide reasonable evidence of the reported defect.
• 5 Star Sign Ltd must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the problem.

3. What Is Not Covered

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, vandalism, accidents, neglect, or improper installation.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or incorrect electrical connections.
• Damage caused by power surges, external electrical faults, fire, flooding, storms, or other external events.
• Normal wear and tear, fading, or cosmetic changes caused by environmental exposure.
• Labour, travel, lifting equipment, scaffolding, removal, or reinstallation costs unless agreed to in writing.
• Failures resulting from incompatible equipment or installation contrary to supplied instructions.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Please contact 5 Star Sign Ltd and provide:

• Your name and contact information.
• Invoice or order number.
• Purchase or installation date.
• Clear photographs or videos showing the issue.
• A description of the defect.

We will review your information and advise you of the next steps. If the claim is covered, we will explain the applicable repair or replacement solution.

5. Consumer Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights or remedies available under applicable Canadian and Alberta law. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
